We know we are travelling in the off season, but the pool was empty, the hammam closed and that was not made clear when booking. It is also not up a quiet street as pictured on the map but right on a busy roundabout. We arrived and had to wait for someone to wander back in, when he did, he got frustrated that we didn’t speak Turkish except the problem was that he was trying to charge us twice. We asked for the wifi so we could use Google translate, but he didn’t understand and there was no wifi available. After the second attempt we got a room key that worked, the room was made up but musty and one of the towels smelled strongly of cigarettes. The flush on the toilet was working but was missing a cover. The balcony looked out onto the building site and main road. It was also the most expensive hotel we’ve had on our Turkey road trip so far. We booked for two nights but only stayed one. If we’d been able to get wifi we would not have stayed at all.
