I have to firstly say the food and the vast majority of staff are excellent. Tbe room was clean, tired and needs decorating, but perfectly acceptable. A bit miffed I paid *** when 3 days before I could have secured the same for ***. That is a vast difference.
So tbe I cident was a customer was not happy with his bill and he eas dining with his family including three kids 6, 10 and 13. Member of staff aggressively and angrily came up to thevustomer and began shouting at tbe customer. Swearing at him without a care and within 4 foot of his kids who by now were scared of tbe confrontation, tbe 6 year old was in tears and pushing up against mum. There were 3 other tables in close proximity and all table were aghast at this mans action. My guest got up and took the kids outside. I wrote to Marstons and git an initial response but heard nothing since. I will avoid booking Marstons in future. Fir methe incident was horrendous but Marstons response has been worse.

The room was a nice size and very clean. The room amenities were good, but could have done with better shampoo/conditioner,and body wash provision.

Excellent location for our visit and nice and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant pleasant and convenient.
