Agoda is one of the most misleading booking platforms I’ve ever used.
I booked a hotel specifically because the Agoda listing promoted the spa as part of the experience. Nowhere did it say the spa required an extra paid pass. Only after booking did I find out it costs almost as much as the room itself. This is information that should have been clearly disclosed, yet Agoda conveniently left it out.
When I contacted customer support, the entire experience was a joke. They ignored everything I said, repeated copy-and-paste lines that had nothing to do with the issue, and refused to acknowledge that their listing was misleading. Their so-called “internal team” didn’t even bother addressing the problem—they just denied compensation without reading my message properly.
Agoda takes absolutely no responsibility for the false information published on their platform. They hide behind excuses, blame the hotel, and act like transparency is optional. If this is how they handle a simple complaint, I can’t imagine how they behave when something serious happens.
Save yourself the frustration. Agoda is unreliable, unprofessional, and completely indifferent to their customers. Book literally anywhere else
