The most positive thing about the whole stay was the bed, soft bed/mattress and very comfortable to sleep on. If you have any (heavy) luggage, avoid — there is no elevator. Without a Chinese phone number, you cannot have access to Wi-Fi. The building and rooms are outdated and truthfully could need a renovation. The housekeeper lady had done her best to make it somewhat clean although the room is simply worn out. The stained carpets in the corridors say it all. When entering the room as a non-smoker, the unpleasant smell of cigarettes was still lingering. There was an ashtray so unfortunately this is allowed, and yes the smell stained the room. The window had to be open all the time otherwise it would be even worse. The sliding glass door in the small shower could not fully be closed so the floor outside would get drenched and can be slippery. If you just need a bed to sleep in and don’t care for much else and you are on a budget, this might be ‘alright’ for you but paying a little more would get you way better value about any other hotel.
