This is not a cheap hotel, so you expect a little more from it, but unfortunately it does not deliver.
Firstly I do want to say the staff were nice people and friendly.
But you quickly find out that the reason its "basic" is because they are trying to be eco-friendly.
They don't have kettle or coffee in the room because of the kettle carbon footprint. But they do have a Sauna & steam on all day.
They don't give you shampoo or conditioner for the shower
The pillows and beds aren't comfortable. The pillow being too thin for a comfortable sleep.
But the thing that is craziest about this place is that they are being directed by "low carbon footprint" but at breakfast its all meat, cheese and eggs...which as we know carries the largest carbon footprint of all foods.
There is VERY LITTLE for people following plant based diets despite the hotel boasting 76 different items for breakfast.
We rarely leave negative reviews these days, but this hotel was a treat for us and it was disappointing.
We felt the hotel isn't eco-friendly, they are just cutting costs where they can
