Booked two rooms, the first room had a distinct smell of ***. The second room had black mold going up the wall in the shower. We reported this to management and were moved rooms. On the next set of rooms both rooms were good until we got back for the night. Room one had a strong smell of ***, and went and got the manager. She said she was going to go to the rooms beside and find this smoker and stop this. Thinking this was the resolution daughter and grandkids stayed in the room. By morning all had dilated pupils. Guess when they went to sleep there was no resolution. Had her door open to air out the room, from the time they woke. Informed management of this as well. For checkout I was informed I should have called the cops last night? Me? Then, I was informed "the police make hourly rounds for safety" there.. She then said, I got a good price on rooms and that I could have a soda or snack for the road which we declined. My daughter and grandbabies should not have been exposed like this and when told it was going to be fixed should have been. Did not offer to move her again as there were no rooms left I was told last night. So I am not going back there. I have stayed at other Econo lodges and never had issues like this. I have never stayed at any place and experienced this type of situation.
