We were made very welcome for our 1 night stay. This old coaching inn and village pub has been turned around by a Lancashire family, and if not everything is perfect yet it's not for want of trying. As a staging post on the M74, it makes a welcome alternative to the chain hotels at services, not least for the breakfasts.
