if you're looking for a hotel that's only for sleep and shower, then look no further. it's not as bad as what you think, it's small, the bathroom is even smaller (cubicle), but it's all functional. the wall not as thin as other 3 stars/ budget hotels (you might still hear if someone's coughing next door), but the bed's comfy, the shower has a good pressure although it took time to get you hot water, and they let you borrow the hairdryer for free. there's a free cold water dispenser by the reception too. it might not be suitable for those needed lift, stairs only!

The room is cramped but the view to the castle is indeed majestic. Comfort with strategic area. The man who welcome us was nice but I think when we about to check out the some India Bangladesh lady who was at the receptionist was kindly idk how to say it. When I took my luggage she was on the phone and to have me take it by myself with her hand gesture which again I think less appropriate, She really needs to learn how to serve well.

A tiny interior room. The door opened into a room that had a wet room after about a metre ,just enough room for a toilet and shower ,with a very basic shower curtain ( the shower itself was hot and powerful enough) the bed went behind the shower and filled the rest of the space in the room- very difficult to make properly as you could only get at about 1 metre of it.Small tv above the end of the bed. It was also up 2 flights of stairs( no lift) hot drinks available for £1 from a small machine in reception. Staff helpful. It was clean but very basic. Imagine a tiny cabin on a ferry. Very good position for a lot of attractions. Bed and pillows adequate. Other hotels of similar value don’t feel anywhere near as cramped-.
