We really enjoyed our stay. We had a ground floor room which was accessible for wheelchair users. I did mention this on reception because we didn't need an accessible room, but the receptionist advised that this was fine. The bathroom, we both felt this could be improved on, as when you had a shower, it literally took hours for the floor to dry and was quite slippery and we are both able bodied. There were no cabinets or shelving in the bathroom and this made things difficult showering and having a wet floor afterwards and the sink was inadequate and too small for the size of the bathroom. The food was exceptional and the staff were brilliant. Drinks were a little expensive. We had 2 glasses of wine and 2 Gin and Tonics and this was almost £43.00. The hotel and location was amazing!!

An absolute slice of heaven. Between the breathtaking location, the stunning hotel, and the incredible staff, this was easily the best holiday I’ve ever had." Option 2: Elegant & Descriptive "Loch Lomond is truly heaven on earth. The spectacular setting, paired with a beautiful hotel and world-class service, made for an unforgettable stay. Hands down the best trip of my life." Option 3: Warm & Personal "I can’t say enough about this stay—it felt like pure bliss. The staff and the location made everything so special. It wasn’t just a holiday; it was the best experience I’ve had yet." Pro-tip: If you’re posting this as a public review, naming a specific staff member or a particular view you loved usually makes the feedback even more impactful. Do you want to add any specific details about the hotel or the view to make it even more personal? An absolute slice of heaven. Between the breathtaking location, the stunning hotel, and the incredible staff, this was easily the best holiday I’ve ever had.

Entering into the reception area, I was greeted by pleasant, calming music which set the tone and mood of a relaxing and zen environment, which I must say matched the decor splendidly! However, that is where the positive energy stopped. The lady on reception was abrupt in her manner and did not offer the customer service expected of such an iconic location and spot on Loch Lomond. I myself am Scottish and I was so disappointed in how foreign people may feel when entering. It is not the warm welcome to Scotland that I would expect and hope for in a 3 star hotel. The rooms were lovely, bed was very small which seems to be quite normal in this area of Scotland. The walls are quite thin and you can hear everything from next door and the corridors- luckily there wasn’t any disturbance! The breakfast was cooked to order. All in all, an ok stay in duck bay, that I wouldn’t rave about.
