Cubley is a comfortable place to stay: the facilites are pleasant, with warm showers, clean sheets and towels and quiet rooms despite being quite cramped. The heating in winter is hot hot hot but it's better than the freezing cold outside.
Breakfast is great value and a nice addition. If you need a reliably pleasant place to stay on the edge of the Peak District, you could do a lot worse than Cubley.
