    lovely staff who provide lots of information upon check in and during stay. offers meal service every day (microwaveable meals), comfy and warm bed with clean bathroom. electric blankets were a nice touch. next to a cafe which is the last food place before cradle mountain which made very fresh food and coffee with great staff. we had to learn the hard way that they close on monday (along with most other food places) but the meal service was adequate. only challenge was the lack of service if you are not with telstra. cafe offers good wifi but in the actual room there is barely any service. we had to drive to the next town to buy an eSIM which only just got us by but at cradle mountain there is much better signal. 3 nights is sufficient if you are prepared with enough food and internet. the remoteness of the place was lovely and cozy as you are embedded with nature and as long as you are prepared you will definitely enjoy it. only 20 minutes drive to cradle mountain park which is an enjoyable commute and 20-50 mins drive to other surrounding small towns. we really enjoyed our stay, combined with our hikes around cradle this accomodation and our experience there made it a highlight and core memory of our overall trip. thank you!

    Cheaper option, 20 mins to cradle mountain and devils at cradle. Great little cafe across the road. Wonder room, soft comfortable bed , good heating.

    It's a very comfortable and warm small cottage within a beautiful surrounding. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

    The accommodation is in a great location and is very much value for money, for it's location. However, there is zero mobile coverage for any network except for Telstra. There is also no wifi provided, even though the brilliant cafe across the street provides wifi until 4pm. However, it's too far from the accommodation and so you need to go to the cafe, which is run by a very lovely and knowledgeable lady. They can give you food to take away and heat later....they close at 4pm. Agoda don't give customer's details to the accommodation people either so if you arrive after 4pm (when the cafe is closed and can't helps you) and you don't have a Telstra sim, you will be stuffed because you can't get a hold of the people running the accommodation to get into the lockbox for the key.
