We only had 1 day at Chateau de Saint Paterne, but boy was it memorable. From the moment we arrived we were looked after. A 3 course dinner with pre-dinner drinks. The food was absolutely delicious. The entrees was something I had never had before but set the tone for the rest of the meal. The chef came out and chatted afterwards. We couldn't fault the staff or owners, if you wanted something, all you had to do was ask and they would endeavour to do or get. They really took an interest in what you were doing and where you were going, giving suggestions if wanted. Would definitely stay here again.

Our third stay in 24 years, the first being in 2001, the second in 2019, and the third in the past few days. Over those years the chateau has become an established business whilst losing none of its friendliness and charm. Charles-Henry, Segolene, and their team ensure that your stay is as far removed from a boring corporate hotel chain as you can possibly get, yet still with amenities that include home comforts, sauna, hot tub, and pool, and investment in extremely fast fibre internet connectivity. Highly recommended.
I return for my fourth time in two months from now.
