I traveled specifically for my honeymoon and birthday, staying two nights at this hotel with high expectations given its 5-star rating. Unfortunately, the experience was very underwhelming. Despite highlighting in my booking notes the purpose of my visit, there was no special gesture made for my birthday or honeymoon—nothing like a simple birthday greeting, a cake, or even a small token of appreciation.
It’s disappointing because even at 3-4 star hotels I've stayed at in the past, staff have at least acknowledged my birthday with a small gesture like a cake, chocolates, or a personal greeting. For a 5-star establishment, I expected more thoughtfulness, especially for such special occasions.
Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel for couples or for celebrating any special event, as it simply didn’t live up to the expectations set by its rating.
