    I booked this hotel because of the location and the charming visuals. The rooms are cute and clean - though the bathrooms could use updating. The kids loved the heated pool, and the grounds are really lovely. We did have some issues, though. The air conditioning in our room smelled like urine when it ran. Maintenance came to address it and could only Lysol spray it and add a room fragrance., whcih only masked the odor a bit but we were still unable to use the aircon as then it smelled like urine masked by chemicals. They did not offer to move us to a different room. I am often up at 4:30 am as I work remotely on east coast time, and so I work in the lobby for my 8-9 am EST daily meetings so as not to disturb my family sleeping in the room. The lobby attendant called security on me as I sat in The hallway outside of the restroom on a work teams call at 5:30 am (8:30 am EST) I had taken my first call at 5 am in the lobby restroom as it was the only available private area and the project I am working on is sensitive so I wanted an area with relative privacy for the first 20 minutes of the call. The front office lady interrupted that call at 5:10 am to ask “if I was alright”, and then called security afterward. The day before I was working in the lobby and the same lobby attendant was there, so she knew I was staying there. I was wearing a cute lululemon sweatsuit set so it was not like I was dressed like a vagrant to arouse suspicion. The day before when I was working in the lobby in morning, the internet was continually booting me off and I had a full discussion with her as well. Additionally the water dispenser in the lobby was u available or empty 50% of the time. We full our water bottle twice a day and it is important to have filtered water available as it specifically listed as an amenity in their literature. The parking spaces were a bit difficult to park the Yukon in as they are a bit small. Pros - location, cuteness, cleanliness, comfortable beds, excellent housekeeping.

    They charged $17 plus tax for parking every night when it was almost impossible to tbd a parking spot. One day they clean and next they didn’t.

    There are some great places nearby, but Casa Munras takes the cake. Rooms; facilities; restaurant and staff- wonderful. Erica at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

    I my friend and I stayed at this hotel. I love the elegant and classy look to this establishment, both in the lobby and at the room. I am in California native of the San Francisco area and I've never been to this area in my whole life and I was curious as to how beautiful the seaside is not so far from home. I visited in September the weather was great and there was a market in the neighborhood. I enjoyed the restaurant, the food, and the hotel cat who is vocal..lol don't worry if you haven't met him, he would introduce himself to you in a non-needy way. Gentle reader, do not be dismayed of my comment of the cat. This establishment is very professional clean. The cat actually has its own quarters, and if you're outside, that's when you'll see him he is not a stray. Anyway, I would return again. This was such a cute Tucktaway establishment with a great neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is warm. The staff is exceptional and friendly.
