I honestly don't even know where to begin describing my stay at the Cappadocia Pyramid Stone House—it was simply PERFECT in every sense of the word. If you are looking for a magical and unforgettable experience in Cappadocia, stop searching and book this hotel immediately.
The Location & The View
Let's talk about the location first. While the hotel isn't perched right on the very edge of a cliff (which actually made it feel safer and more accessible!), the position is still absolutely unbeatable. The panoramic view of the valleys is spectacular. I woke up early every morning just to sit on the terrace with a cup of Turkish tea and watch the sunrise. And yes, watching the hot air balloons float directly over the hotel while sipping my coffee was a surreal, dream-like experience. You get that iconic postcard view without feeling like you are going to tumble off a cliff!
The Rooms (Modern Stone & Wood)
I loved that the hotel offers a unique twist on the "cave" concept. Instead of being a rough, carved-out rock room, the building features a beautiful blend of modern architecture with natural stone and warm wooden accents. It felt luxurious, bright, and incredibly cozy. It gave me that authentic Cappadocia vibe but with the cleanliness and comfort of a high-end boutique hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and the bed was a cloud—I haven't slept that well in years.
The Star of the Show: The Jacuzzi
Now, I have to give a special mention to the in-room Jacuzzi. It was absolutely amazing! Seeing that beautiful Jacuzzi tub integrated into the stone-and-wood decor was so impressive. Unfortunately, our schedule was so packed with exploring the region that we ran out of time to actually use it. This is my one and only (self-inflicted) regret! I am already planning our return visit, and the first thing on my to-do list is to pour a glass of wine, fill up that Jacuzzi, and just soak while looking at the view.
The Breakfast: A Private Fine Dining Experience
And now, for one of the most memorable parts of our stay: the breakfast. This was not just a meal; it was a culinary experience. Every morning, we were treated to a spectacular traditional Turkish breakfast, but with a special touch. Instead of a buffet, it was served privately at our own table, beautifully presented like a fine dining experience. The spread was incredible—fresh local cheeses, olives, homemade jams, honey, and endless simit. But the highlight was the unlimited, freshly cooked Gözleme (stuffed pancakes) brought straight to our table. Sitting on that beautiful terrace, enjoying this royal feast in privacy while watching the balloons float by... it felt like we were the only people in the world. Absolutely delicious and unforgettable.
The Staff & Hospitality
The team at Pyramid Stone House doesn't just run a hotel; they welcome you into their home. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. They helped us arrange everything—from our rental car to the hottest air balloon ride—at prices that were actually better than what we found online. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

Cappadocia Pyramid Stone House is more than just a place to sleep; it's the heart of the Cappadocia experience. Great location, amazing views, beautiful modern-rustic design, a Jacuzzi that calls your name, and a breakfast experience that rivals any top restaurant.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so magical. We will definitely be back—and next time, I'm spending a whole evening in that Jacuzzi and staying for an extra hour at breakfast
