I would not recomment to stay at this place for several reasons: ​1. Poor Accessibility: The location is inconvenient. It’s a 20-minute walk from the train station, but the path is extremely unfriendly for anyone with heavy luggage. ​2. The "Sauna" or "Infestation" Dilemma: Since it wasn't summer yet, the air conditioning was disabled. If we kept the windows closed, the room felt like a sauna—stuffy without fresh air. However, opening them created other issues: since the hotel is close to the train tracks, making it extremely noisy at night. To make matters worse, the room was infested with mosquitoes and spiders. I killed 4 mosquitoes the first night, 2 the second, and 5 the third. I was constantly woken up by either the roar of the trains or the noice by mosquitoes. 3. ​Lack of Cleanliness: The hygiene was unacceptable. There was a mysterious dried spill/stain inside the fridge that clearly hadn't been cleaned. We also found spiders in the room. 4. ​Poor Bed Quality: The mattress on the side near the window was terrible. My friend suffered from severe shoulder discomfort after sleeping on it. ​In short, if I return to Florence, I will never stay here again.

We found this place as we wanted to extend our stay in Florence last minute. The place is designed for student campus where there is common areas, gym and cafeteria. They have open to public for hotel stay. Overall the place has all the right amenities like fridge, kettle for hot drinks, TV, appropriate multiple power plug points and great water pressure. A plus was the open terrace for sitting outdoor. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nearest Tram station is Statuto for the T1 line which is abt 400m away, suggest to use it if you have trolley luggages. Only improvement would be better pillows (as it was totally flat) and one have to bring own tolietries.

I am writing this at 12.09am on a Thursday, when I cannot sleep because I can hear the noise and ruckus caused by the students staying here. This accommodation is essentially a hostel for students. They stay up late and talk loudly throughout the night, even shouting and cheering, and there is no soundproofing in the rooms. I wish I had read the reviews in detail and stayed at a proper hotel instead. Do not stay here unless you want to have a sleepless stay.
