This accommodation is just a 5-minute walk from Wengen train station, making it very convenient while still tucked away in a peaceful and quiet setting. Compared to Interlaken or Grindelwald, Wengen provides a more tranquil and scenic base, even though it requires a little extra travel time to visit some attractions.
The room has no air conditioning, but it stays pleasantly cool with just a small window gap open. The overall atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
One standout feature is the breakfast selection—this place offers a few types of cooked food, in addition to the usual breads, cheese, and cold cuts, which is a nice change from the standard options.
A small point to note: there are steps to climb before reaching the lift, so be prepared to carry luggage.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone seeking peace, comfort, and beautiful surroundings.
