After many years of trying finally managed a break in Venice. Decided to spend a few days visiting local places around Venice to avoid the worst of the weekend crowds in Venice. Hotel is perfectly located, being close enough to the sights and far enough from the crowds. Ponte Degli Alpini and most of the old walled town is 15min walk, Bassano Del Grappa train station about 10mins away. 1.25hrs away from Vicenza by bus and just over an hour by bus from the amazing medieval town of Asolo Hotel fab and staff really helpful, accommodation and breakfast was good. Good choice at the price for Bassano.
