The hotel lacks management.
The sauna and Hamam is not turned on daily at opening times, you have to keep asking the reception to come and turn it on and they don’t appear for about 15 to 30
Minutes.
The swimming pool is cold I believe it’s due to the fact they turn it off at night and the same reason the water is cloudy and not filtered properly.
I have swimming pool and to maintain the heat and keep the bills down you have to keep the filtration pump running and the heating system normally a heat pump inverter comes on automatically when it drops below the set temperature so the running cost are low.
The showers are a timer pushed type you have to physically keep it pushed in with one hand whilst you attempt to take a shower no maintenance.
Breakfast is good but again not managed properly there is one lady running around trying to do everything but she does everything in the wrong order so tables are left with the last guest full of dirty dishes whilst she is working on another table where nobody is sitting instead of clearing the table where people are sat with a dirty table wiring for clean plates/utensils.
1 member of staff visible on a Sunday morning probably the day when everyone is at breakfast the most, it’s impossible.
The lady on reception appears never to move I think she might be the Manager but there is no management going on.
Now the good point the room is spacious and adequate no complaints about the Room but if your coming to use the Spa facilities forget it.
I do hope Best Western gets some proper management in the hotel it could be a real gem if managed properly and I would return.
