The entire hotel is pretty sketchy. Upon my arrival I noticed a man snoring in the lobby and it took 10 minutes of ringing the bell for anyone to come and check me in. When I got to my room, the "pros" would be that it was large and the outside was well lit. It was also clean when I arrived which was a good thing considering I was there Wed-Friday nights, checking out Saturday and at no time did housekeeping come by to empty a trash can provide fresh towels or anything. Speaking of towels, they provided 1 bath towel (child size) 1 wash cloth and a few hand towels and that's it. The hair dryer didn't work and the tv volume control didn't work beyond a whisper which sucked because if you wanted to listen to the news while getting ready for work in the morning, there was no way to hear it over the bathroom vent fan. The window unit AC also drowned out the tv so one could choose: sweat or watch tv.
Now the restaurant on the premises was amazing! But obviously no room service. Luckily the restaurant did provide alcohol in "to go" cups and like I said, the food (Mexican cuisine) was wonderful! The ONLY redeeming quality. Next time I go to Tell City for business, I will stay somewhere else!
