B&B Isonzo is very convenient to the Trieste Airport - just a few minutes drive. You can either take a taxi or arrange transportation with the B&B for a reasonable fee.
The B&B was fascinating from an historic pint of view, having been built on top of a WWI bunker, which is now the breakfast room. It has fascinating photos and artifacts of WWI in the area.
The owner is very friendly and helpful. He pointed out a WWI wall outside and recommended several places to eat. A map of the town was provided.
The room was extremely quiet, but a bit small.
I enjoyed my stay and recommend B&B Isonzo.
