We arrived at 5pm in the afternoon so there were no issues checking in. The receptionist who welcomed us was kind and courteous explaining what freebies they offer in the room.
I booked the hotel 3 days before our check in time so that’s maybe the reason why I paid a bit at a higher price.
I booked a standard room. Bottled water and a small chocolate was free daily (per person). They had free nescafe coffee in a pod and tea but we didn’t consume any. The room was pretty small but I like the fact that the bathroom was spacey. I like that there’s a small balcony to appreciate the surroundings especially during sunrise.
It’s a 10-minute walk from Duomo Train station and Duomo Milan Cathedral. Or maybe less because I walk slow. There’s an authentic Gelato shop near the area (Ciacco is the name I think) and there are lots of shopping stores around the hotel.
The only issue is the ongoing construction of the road where the hotel is. So during busy hours, it will be challenging for the car to stop when you have luggages carry out of the car/van.
Oh and I love the scent of their hallways in the room!
Woukd definitely consider here again on my next trip.
