I booked the hotel before I had a real sense of where things were in Tilburg. It ended up working out for the last day of my stay when I was checking out my granddaughter’s university, as the hotel is very close to the campus of Tilburg University. However, I was traveling on foot and by train and bus and the hotel is a solid 22 minute walk from the closest bus and rail stations. That would be its only drawback in my view. If one were traveling by car, then it would not be an issue. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and staff and the food in the restaurant. The hotel is located next to a beautiful, very walkable park, and even though I was there in February when the weather was not great, I still enjoyed it very much. It would be nice to go back when the weather is better and enjoy the little terrace outside the room and other amenities of the hotel. I would also see this as a great place to have a family gathering.

This is a high quality hotel within a scenic and quiet setting and a location that is quite close to Tilburg University. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The only aspect that I can criticize is that my room did not have air conditioning. That can be an issue during hot summer nights
